Encouragement for the Musician's Soul

Listen to the rhythm of life and you will see music. It's in the steady beat of our hearts and in the gentle rise and fall of our lungs as we breathe. It's in the very essence of what makes us alive. Listen to the rhythm of nature and you will see music. It's in the flow of sunrise to sunset, from season to season. In Genesis 1:1, we read, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." I think God put music into His creation, for Isaiah 49:13 tells us, "Shout for joy, oh heavens; rejoice, oh earth; burst into song, oh mountains!" If we listen well, we can join in the chorus. What a beautiful symphony of worship to offer God through His gift of music.

Open Auditions Planned This Summer

Open auditions are scheduled July 18th & July 25th , 9:00AM - 6:00PM

July 18th - Pinecrest Baptist Church, McDonough

July 25th - Oak Hill Baptist Church, Griffin

Rehearsals To Resume

Our rehearsals will begin on Tuesday Aug 11th at Oak Hill Baptist Church, Griffin. It will be a combined Orchestra/Choir rehearsal starting at 7:00PM. Oak Hill has a beautifull facility and their church design will facilitate joint rehearals.You will not want to miss this first rehearsal and hear about the new plans for GACCOC.

Leadership Team Selected

In 2009 we plan to move forward by building effective leadership teams which will support sustained and balanced growth. Members for the Planning Leadership Team have been selected and include: Judy Andrews, Margaret McCook, John Dunham, & Richard Taylor.
